Get “Going-Out” Going

Join Melinda Nielsen and Jackie Silveira-Sater as they explore how the challenges of going out have evolved—from unanswered phones to outdated maps—and how we can preserve the dual environment in a changing technological world.

This session includes practical strategies for helping children continue to confidently engage with the world outside the classroom, along with guidance on common concerns such as funding and transportation.

Jackie and Melinda both began with Primary training in the 1980s and completed Elementary training in the 1990s. They are AMI Consultants with leadership roles in their schools and have built flourishing going-out programs over many years.
